Carol W

by Carol W
(Figheldean, Salisbury Plain)

I am currently putting together my family tree, and trying to trace my great garandfather's family history. His name was John Marks and he came from Woodgreen. I believe he had a brother called Daniel, and a relation named Wilson Marks. I intend to visit and check the cemetry etc. But in the meantime if anyone knows the family I would be grateful for information. John married Sarah Jane Beasant and they lived in Figheldean, Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, where he died. My mother can remember visiting her grandmother in Woodgreen as a child, it would be great to hear if any of the family still live in the village.

Kind regards

CarolW
