Set on level ground in a woodland glade, Ashurst camp site in the New Forest ensures you can enjoy the open ground but also, if we ever get a decent, hot summer, relax under the shade of ancient oak wood.

Ashurst campsite is only 5 minutes walk to the local village of Ashurst where you can visit the shop , or in the next village over, have a drink in the local pub The Gamekeeper at the nearby hamlet of Woodlands.

Public transport is an option at Ashurst New Forest campsite.
South West Trains Ashurst Station is really close and you can also find out Bus Information. Ashurst is on the London - Southampton - Poole line. When you are on the campsite there are buses to Southampton and Lymington

  • Ashurst Campsite lies 2.5 miles North East of Lyndhurst on the A35.
  • Leave the M27 at junction 3 on to the M271, signposted Southampton & The Docks.
  • At Redbridge Roundabout take the 2nd exit on to the A35, in a south westerly direction towards Totton and Lyndhurst.
  • Continue on the A35 over two roundabouts, heading towards Lyndhurst.
  • Pass through Ashurst Village with the train station to the left.
  • Continue over the railway bridge and Ashurst Campsite is signposted left just after the New Forest Pub.
