How many animals are commoners allowed to put out to graze the Nw Forest. Is there a statutory number ? There just seems to be more and more and huge parts of the forest are definitely getting over grazed

It may also be helpful to speak to The Verderers office re concerns they may have been experiencing (or not) this year. If you have a specific area in mind then they would welcome your observations on over grazing, I'm sure.
Commoning is carefully regulated by the Verderers and can only be allowed if your property holds the forest rights to Common. You also have to have access to enough land to take the animal off the forest if it has health issues.
