I oppose the proposed sale of English woodlands, our precious heritage. My fear is that it will threaten public access and the management of woodland, which is essential to ensure its survival as a sustainable resource.
During the war years my mother moved from London to Hampshire with her job to work at The Petroleum Board. She lived on the fringe of the New Forest and it sustained her throughout the difficult times and gave her hope and happiness. She met my father in Southampton. So this is for her memory, and for the future of my grandchildren.

Thank you for your lovely, poignant comment. The New Forest is just so much more than just a forest to so many people throughout the Uk and the rest of the world too. It is hard to maintain in its present form without HM government trying to sell it off.
Please get all your friends to vote too so that our voice is heard. Thank you for visiting new Forest life website and I hope you re visit soon
